Aftermath
I hope y’all enjoy the mystery game.
After all it’s a content game. Not full of mystery. Fictional (mostly). A work of mine and my good ol’ pal (the ai toolbox). Ideas flooded by around March, only after I began drafting letters to all 3 of you. In fact, before drafting I never thought of making this into a game; such idea came from writing the last page of content, I realised I could have written words in a super fun way, and thus the game is destined to be born.
For the last story (and virtually every part in this game) every word really came from the last one. No planning, no ideas (before starting), but a vague thought of what I want to bring out. I see that as quite a work done with my satisfaction. I referred to one of my favourite author, Yuji Sakamoto’s way of writing. Something I have always wanted to try. If you haven’t know him I strongly recommend watching “Karutetto” as a 10 episode TV series. Or his written work. Depending on how fried your dopamine is.
Actually, the letter to Jinho is the original letter: something I planned to write before decided to make it into a game. The connection between Marco and Moses’s letter is basically everything in the game. If you wanna read the normal version refer to the former one, through the letters I have written is virtually the SAME for every one of you (except everything else that came along).
You may wonder, why the three of you? I wonder as well. I knew I would prepare this for the three of you from the beginning, yet I didn’t know why back then. Instinct defo kicked in. Looking back I think it’s because the similarities y’all share: same school, been to Estonia, and people I know well.
I tried making the riddles to be for you three only. Everything is done by implementing something each of you are familiar at and general mystery solving techniques to create this mini game.
As always, the release of the game is postponed because of my lazy ass (the letter, pv, and many other huge projects I have worked on). I couldn’t guarantee everything is perfect but I tried spending time on subtle details. Same thing applies to the video I’ll publishing on early July; I have yet to consider anything after that.
Hope y’all enjoy the souvenir,
JT
